We are on a biking trip and the tour company booked us in here. Check in was a disgrace the girl took 30 minutes to copy our passports as we did not want to leave them. We got to the room and there was no hot water so it was back to reception to try and sort this out.
We had to tell her that we needed another room. After being moved we went to bar which did have a bottle of Gordon's gin but no tonic. Best sticking to beer. Dinner was okay, however, the wine was corked and they still wanted to charge.
We are now back in the room which is adequate, however, karaoke is blasting out and the music is terrible never mind the singing. Keep driving to the next town is my advice. I am a 61 year old retired professional. I was comfortable in Hanoi, staying at the Sofitel. I had no social interest in the woman beyond niceties. She assured me that she had five 5 hand picked, adorable single women for me to meet at the resort.
