Room was very large and spacious, with everything you could expect from a 5 star hotel, however it was somewhat challenging to try and communicate with staff as they spoke very little English which you wouldn't expect from a top rated hotel. We left a decent tip just to get out of there, but the girls were so rude and ungrateful, I went to snatch it back, but my husband just wanted to get out I didn't know about his experience at this time I really wanted to the management but we were leaving the next day and didn't want to made uncomfortable in the hotel.
Basically I wouldn't recommend staying in quy nhon it has a beautiful beach, but that's it, I felt very unsafe of a night I didn't anywhere elsein vietnam you get looked at like a freak everywhere you go, it is not a tourist town, nor does it want to be, as it has industry of it's own, my advice stay 1 night to rest, and stay away from the massage parlour!!!
This was not a good hotel at all for the price. The staff at reception were rude. There were dirty plates and beer bottles left beside the pool all day, no staff at pool area, we had to go inside to ask for towels and menu for food and drinks and were reluctantly served outside. The room was very large but old fashioned and water heater very slow for hot shower. I would not stay here again or recommend to anyone.
Overall the Saigon Quynhon was not a bad hotel the rooms were big and comfortable. The hotel was nicely furnished but the restaurant at the hotel was terrible. We sat out by the pool, which initially looked great. We order our meals and were just talking quietly when we noticed in a bush hanging over a wall about 3 meters away from the table there was a family of rats running around. This was not the greatest experience but i am not that worried by rats so it didn't bother me too much.
