Sorry about my brief hiatus from posting. I was busy traveling and then I almost died. I just recently took a little weekend trip down to Vung Tau, Vietnam. A lot of people bad mouth Vung Tau so I had pretty low expectations going in⦠But I was pleasantly surprised with what I found. Vung Tau is a small city with a population of less then , people. There is a limited selection compared to a big city like Saigon.
Vung Tau is so small, you would definitely be running into the same people all over the place. That said, there are still plenty of cute girls in Vung Tau. The first thing I did prior to my visit was log into my account on Vietnam Cupid. I did a search for girls ages living within 50 miles of Vung Tau, active within the last week. My search yielded results. Then I checked on Asian Dating. The same search had over results! The bottom line is, you can definitely find a girlfriend or two in Vung Tau.
I recommend signing up for Vietnam Cupid and Asian Dating prior to your trip so you can start setting up dates. It takes approximately 1. You can also take a bus to and from Vung Tau. I believe it takes about two hours. I recommend the boat service. If you want to party or have a night out then you can easily shoot up to HCMC for a weekend bender.
All girls love a weekend getaway! If you had a house in Vung Tau you could easily host a new hottie every weekend! Vung Tau gets busy on the weekends when people from Saigon head down there to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. You could easily have a girlfriend in Saigon and still see her often enough to make it work. Traveling back and forth is that simple and easy. Vung Tau is the best place for mongering in Vietnam!
Just off the main strip on back beach there is a street full of girly bars. There must be at least a dozen lining both sides of the street. The girls I met in Vung Tau seemed much more pleasant then the working girls in Saigon. A single man could have a blast on this one street alone. In summary, Vung Tau has plenty of options. I would find myself a nice local girl and date her full time.
