I didn't see much in the way of golf courses when we were there however I believe that along the China Beach strip between Da Nang and Hoi An there may now be some resorts completed that cater for the golfer. Montgomerie Links , Hoi An.
Danang Golf Club. King Island Golf Club, Hanoi. Vinpearl Golf Club, Nha Trang. Plenty of adult only hotels. What takes place in them though I leave those thoughts to you. Usually resorts are a better place for peace and quiet. Generally the Vietnamese like their children to be seen and heard, makes a refreshing change from the be quiet brigade. But Brrr Odds are Danang will be windy and chilly and not really good for beaches.
Nha Trang has the new Vinpearl golf and most likely warmer weather, but it is very kid friendly with the amusement park. Lastly Vung Tao Parasie which might be your best bet as it is a beach town though not great beaches A tough call I am afraid. I love golf but I hate what Greg Norman has done to the China beach strip. Apparently he has decimated thousands of family burial grounds and the locals cant access the beach. I used to respect the guy but he is obviously more concerned about money and backhanders than the community and their culture.
Owee, looking at your website you clearly know what you're talking about But yes when not golfing i am expecting it to be degrees and sunny and sunbathing weather so if im wrong please confirm cheers for help ps i would be doing as Nha Trang as well in any event its just?? Not at all The central region of Vietnam can be quite nice if not hit by northern winds, but moist colder air can chill a person to the bone.
Unless you want garanteed warmth in more southern areas, I suggest not even worrying about it and head to Danang. Perhaps you will be blessed with perfect weather Da Nang. Profile JOIN.
