It was nice to have such hotel in Thanh Hoa. I was there for friends' wedding and except for the 5 star resort that away from the city, there were only few options for upscale hotel. All other hotels were really dated so Muong Thanh was obvious choice. Muong Thanh is not exactly up to international standard but when you visit less developed cities in Vietnam, the brand is one of the best choices. The room and other design looks similar to other hotels in chain.
It was cold in the december and if only i could have a heated toilet but this is Vietnam anyway. The breakfast was great, many hot dishes, although mainly Vietnamese dishes. The location is about km to downtown, not much to experience around the hotel.
Must stay away from the massage, the chain is famous for Erotic massage among Vietnamese. I took my friend there, there were only 2 services: standard and VIP.
Both were the same except VIP has jacuzzi. The masseuse had no skill and at the end i was asked if i wanted extra' service. Apart from that, everything was ok, definitely my choice if i visit Thanh Hoa again. Dear sir, We would like to thank you for your valuable review about our service. The rooms are very nice with great amenities, although a stationary shower head would have been nice.
Rooms are large, clean, and have bathtubs. Wifi is fast and food ordered off the restaurant menu is good. Breakfast has a lot of choices but sometimes the food was not hot. Staff is eager to help and with some patience we were able to communicate as English is not commonly spoken here.
