Authentic, we tried the pack that include, Turkish bathroom, peeling and Oil message. This hammam left me with a horrible feeling and many questions.
Are massage men allowed to "massage" a women private parts and her breasts? Is a Turkish hammam supposed to be of mixed sexes allowed to put in the same room naked women and man only covered by one wet towel? Why changing rooms and the hammam are separated, so people has to walk naked from one side to the other, crossing a cold room filled in with strangers dressed from the street? I am going to start with the worst part. We came there mainly to have a massage, and to stay a while inside the hammam.
At the entrance I was asked if it was OK with me to receive the massage from a man, to which I answered yes since I have received many massages from man massage therapists and I have found them all to be very respectful and I enjoyed their massages very much.
When I changed my clothes I left a swimming suit on, I am very glad I did, for many reasons, but especially because it saved me from experiencing even a greater shame. When I entered the massage room, I was asked to remove my swimming suit. I left it out except for a small piece covering my private parts.
The massage guy I am not calling him massage therapist as I highly doubt this person had any training at all insisted on me removing it entirely but I have never been asked to be completely naked and I did not feel the need to remove it all for the massage purposes.
