I can not imagine how it feels to be anything but a mother. I dreamt of it my entire life. I think I would have a gaggle of kids if been granted the green light. This will be my very first mothers day without all of my baby chicks in my nest. I miss the hiker boy but am so happy and proud of him and would rather him that journey than to be here for one simple day. I have learned more about life, love, sacrifice, patience, joy and the true meaning of unconditional from my children.
The moments I have frozen in my mind of our family. The sweet moments and faces of those dear little faces I can only visit in pictures.
Growing a child, birthing and feeding a child all from ones own flesh is beyond any human words I can come up with. I feel so blessed and grateful to have this experience.
Moms come in all forms. I am thankful for my mom. She is perfect for me, guiding me, supporting me, just plain loving me unconditionally.
Laughing with me, cooking with me, sharing with me…just being my friend today is one of the greatest gifts far beyond anything I could have imagined.
