From someone who actually lives in Mexico :. I was at Texano's yesterday afternoon - Saturday a "locals" bar in Rosarito and talked with a couple man and woman who had driven down for the weekend from LA. They got to Tijuana friday evening and went to Adelita's to listen to the music, dance and party.
Adelitas's is in the "Zona Norte " part of Tijuana, strip clubs, drugs, etc. I would not advise going there on a Friday evening myself. They had a great time, no problems, not even a hint of problems, and drove on down to Rosarito that night. Adelita is definitely a famous bar in the Zona Norte for years.
I was there in the Easter weekend and surprising the place was not nearly half full. This topic has been closed to new posts due to inactivity.
