I think the title pretty much says it all. Food is average regular bar food and a bit pricey, service is average, location is great, right in the Hotel Kazakhstan I think, a star hotel , but the hotel is one of the landmarks in the city. They have a very good singer and various bands performing live. Also, all kind of shows. Especially Friday-Saturday nights are fun. Great atmosphere and good old Rock n roll.
Thats my kind of place!! Very loud place. Is more like a night club than a pub. They have live music, which was quite entertaining. Food was tasteless, expensive and slow. All the tables seemed to be reserved but there were few people actually sitting. We only managed to get a small pub table just while we ate our meal after a long and painful negotiation with the server - meanwhile half of the pub tables were empty.
My suggestion is to eat and drink somewhere else first and visit this place later in the night if you're looking for a pick-up bar. If you wants to meet people and listen to music, this is the place.
