Hi guys, so I just bought the DLC with the special cargo. I have already done some contracts. During my last haul, I had to take a high tech device from Berlin to Stettin. After about half way to my destination, I suddenly got a message that one of the escort vehicles crashed. It was the one at the back so I didn't even notice it veered off or anything.
Why would the game punish me with a fine when the AI screws up and crashes into another AI vehicle? Is this for realism? Showing 1 - 14 of 14 comments. Reese View Profile View Posts. I didn't even know the escorts could crash. In my roughly 15 ST deliveries, they've been the safest drivers I've ever seen in the game.

Starting lane change when merging onto highway before rear escort is even capable to secure the lane, or letting other vehicles between escorts and cargo is their usual MO, in my experience.

Thanks for the increased autosaving on Special Transport jobs, but that's a band-aid and a bug fix is needed for whatever keeps killing the rear escort vehicle. This happens quite often to me. I own it too but haven't even played it yet so I'm surprised to read about these incidents. I'll have enough problems of my own let alone worrying about where the escort drivers are.
