Contact Admin. We have only been to Lesbos once and stayed at Nicki Seafront in Petra and really enjoyed it. It used to take you past the Traditional, but they have now moved the Taverna down on the seafront near Avlaki I think. I didn't mean to be offensive but I understand direct direction not google earth technology: Thank you lekistyx for working out the distance for me. I am not very good judging on maps!!
Jackie loads of info and really helpful. Reason usually go for upper floor as you normally have more chance of not being overlooked.
Its so hard to see in photos of places. I do not like having people walking by and they might not enjoy the view lol. Hope all is well with you Jackie. Tsipouro you are so right.. Just trying to be helpful as not everyone who uses TA forums is fit and able bodied, different people walk at a different pace and measured distances make a better comparison for them as they are the only ones who know how far they can manage comfortably. I asked lots of questions on the forum and read loads of reviews, weighed up the pro's and cons about the Gambia , I booked thinking I'd booked a perfect holiday.
Only to find that the repeaters had swayed my decision by painting an altogether rosier picture to the one I saw. And when I returned and posted on their beloved Gambia forum I got a bit of a shock by being lambasted , branded a liar and trying to put off future tourists from coming to their piece of heaven.
So if anyone would enjoy a holiday in a place that has brilliant bird watching , very cheap food , tobacco and alcohol , where you can't walk more than 10 yards without some local offering A place where gigalo's sit down at the side of elderly couples offer a good time to the lady and refuse to move until you pay them or report them to the manager. I know that it is a very poor country and I did meet some very friendly genuine people too ,also that the Gambia has some beautiful scenery and not every visitor has such experiences , but I did!!
