Contact Admin. The Tryp was great the people were good. The food was okay but the drinks made up for it. We were at the Tryp from March 26 to April 2 and had a great time. I think some people go out of their way to find fault - you have to remember though Cuba is not like home. If you wanted something like home, stay in Canada. You get what you put into your holiday. The weather was good - bit windy but we were down at the beach everyday.
There were some people there with wheelchairs or canes. The resort seemed to be able to handle this. There are no elevators but there are ramps everywhere. The only area that someoe with a wheelchair would have difficulty would be the beach. We were in building 5 on the second floor. I do agree with one writer's suggestion that it is better to be on the second or third floor. We had a bit of an obstructed ocean view but could hear the waves at night while we sipped our drinks on the balcony.
A lot of people of been writing about the food. We went to 4 a la carte restuarants - you have to book these early in your stay to make sure you get the time and day that you want.
We ate at the International they had a piano player and singer - very nice , the Cuban my husband liked this restaurant , the seafood and Italian. The breakfast buffet certainly had a lot to choose from - pancakes, omlettes or eggs cooked to order, cereal, fruit, cold meats, fresh juice, breads etc.
We ate most of our lunches at the restaurant on the beach. The menu items didn't change but there was more than enough to choose.
