Another group of eight all men from what appeared to be the Jersey Shore sat diagonal from us, drooling over the ladies of the night. It only got worse as we finished dinner and headed into the casino. The three girls in our party and I started tallying hookers, but quit when we reached about We were the only women there who were not selling sex.
So, families and couples steer clear. Dirty, old men, have at it. It is a very small casino with slots, about blackjack tables and one roulette table. Drinks aren't free when you gamble, we made the assumption they were. It's crawling with wall to wall hookers. My friend and I were the only girls there and we were with our husbands so the "girls" didn't bug us. The douchey guys follow the hookers which makes for the fun people watching. Stumbled in there on a Saturday night and it just looked like there was a good amount of shady looking people in there, other then that it looked pretty cool.
I took my mom there because she likes to play penny slots. Yes the machines are old American machines I think. Its annoying to get the machines to take the Costa Rican money but the barmaid ran and got us new bills to use. Yes there are prostitutes working but they were nice enough and they would go out and work the pool section where the older American men would banter with them and hire them. They all seemed to know one another. Its difficult to win at card games and the people I went with stated that if you hit 21 and the house did, it was a draw not a win.
I am not a card player but several folks mentioned that they felt there were shills working the tables. The drinks were pretty cheap- 1. No one walking around taking drink orders or none that I saw , which meant you had to leave the slots and go to the bar. Not impressed. There is a new casino being built at the other end of town, I'd try it soon to open.
