We had a great time in this hotel because they met our expectations of a 3 star hotel. Wonderful location right at the center of the city with good restaurants, bars and entertainment hubs.
It is also near hospital, sm mall and city hall. The rooms are spacious and clean especially the towels and bed linens. The buffet breakfast is relatively fair enough and they have The buffet breakfast is relatively fair enough and they have the most admirable staff front desk, housekeeping and dining they attended to all our needs and even provided tourist information. It is very rare to get a great service from a hotel that gives value for your money and Microtel GenSan exceeded that.
I would definitely go back into this place and will recommend it to my friends. Thumbs up to the management and staff!
The staff virtually adopted my 6 month old daughter. I have done overseas trips to 47 countries - The Greenleaf Hotel is easily the best hotel I have stayed in. It's rated 4 star - I have stayed in 5 star hotels that pale by comparison. I have stayed in Davao City in other hotels, however our next trip to Min I have stayed in Davao City in other hotels, however our next trip to Mindanao will be determined by the hotel not the city - we're going back to Greenleaf for sure.
I'm not easily impressed, but with staff - they impressed the hell outa me. Foremost is the warmth of the staff.
