The best night club in HCMC with great music, the staffs and managers are very friendly, most I like Apocalypse Now bar because there are new rapper n new guest Dj very nice. My friends also The cover charge to this place gets you a free drink for , vnd and plenty of hookers trying to hookup with tourists. The drinks are pricey and week in alcohol. If you like your cocktails strong Repitetive music Prostitutes all around Bouncers ready to fight During my visit my friend was treated very badly by a local guy who looked short and angry all the time and bouncers were working for him may be he was a goon or the owner.
Not at al a good place to go. All behave like "its my country and m the boss". Tourists r only treated good while placing order. Overprice drinks, bad music, full of prostitutes. All of my friends agree that Apocalypse Now is bad. Girls there are way too friendly, of them are gonna surround you, talk about stuff then start to tell you the price. Such talk, much price wow. I had high hopes of this place, seeing as most of the reviews are positive. However, like some of the more recent reviews I found the 'welcome' from the gangs of staff very overbearing and the place was heaving with girls on the make.
The setting is something like Lineker's Bar in Tenerife back in its 90s glory. The tunes were pure cheese and the clientele were a mix of low life Vietnamese gangsters, shady looking whites guys with girls half their age and then the odd manic reveller who to be fair were clearly enjoying themselves on the minuscule dance floor.
Being on my own, I played a bit of pool and chatted to some of the guys and girls in there, but when it was clear they were all working girls I was off. I gave it my best shot and stayed from 11 to 1. Unless you're up for paying for sex or you are outrageously drunk I'd steer well clear. Lush is a much better proposition. I gave this two stars rather than one because the bar staff I chatted to were genuinely lovely.
Good luck if you dare to enter! Club: Big club, packet even on a weekday. Visit should be done after midnight good place for afterparty. Lot of pretty local girls. Good mix of both foreigners and Asian guests. Fun place for crazy afterparty.
