I'll keep this Short as this review is to the point. I am a former Royal Marines Commando having served 3 tours of Afghanistan in cleanlier accommodation that we built ourselves from string and tin than this place. Upon arrival we were greeted by several prostitutes sat in reception, some with clients and some offering service. The staff spoke english until tips were refused and then the language barrier suddenly came into affect. The rooms were dirty, vomit and blood stains in the corridors, cigarette butts everywhere and the prostitutes could be heard screaming their lungs out although probably faking it for the clients benefit through the paper thin walls.
Dirty bedding and towels and a bathroom that smelt like a public latrine. Doors would not locks contents could not be secured properly. Key chain provided with no attachment to lock it. Empty corridor was used as storage space for mattresses and other hotel utilities. Dining are was swarming with flies and food was left out unattained for hours at at time.
Most likely contained maggots with the amount of flies crawling through the lettuce and meat etc. Complained immediately to the Rep and he reassured me this was a 4 star hotel and would not relocate me. Luckily I had funds tucked away in Luckily I had funds tucked away in savings and left the hotel ASAP and spent an extra grand on a actual 4 star hotel.
Club diana is known throughout Marmaris by the locals as DIRTY Diana and is notorious for prostitution and Russians because it is a Russian hotel that is accustomed to a Russian lifestyle! Not one to judge but the ones we met were rude, arrogant and thought they owned the place. Turkey is a beautiful country with lovely people but do not go to this hotel. I dont normally write reviews but have to on this hotel as it was so awfull.
We arrived at hrs after a 4 hour delay to be greeted my police and ambulance as there had been a fight not a good start. We where then shown to our room only to find that it had not been cleaned from the previous people so where then shown to another room by this stage all we wanted to do was get to bed so accepted the room only to find in the morning when we opened the curtains a big crack in balcony door and water on balcony from the air con.
