Pai Resort in Sukothai is a clean, reasonably priced place to stay in New Sukothai. I write this review mainly to rave about the massages we got. In town there are a number of massage shops and the staff call at you to come in as you walk by.
As a practitioner of Thai Massage myself, that demeanor seems incompatible to the form. We saw that Pai Resort offers massage at basically baht per hour and decided to give it a try. When I asked for the appointment two practitioners one for me, one for my friend came within 20 minutes.

And in other ways Pai resort is clean, it has a swimming pool, it has decent rooms in a gradation of price options, the staff are lovely, and the cafe serves lovely food and good coffee.
