Lynn comes from a remote village, where she is fairly popular with the girls because of her alleged sexual experience, when she is actually a virgin. After her village was attacked, Lynn vowed to become a strong woman like Queen Brunhild and has set out to Burgundy to participate in the Rosengarten Schlacht to impress Brunhild.
Action Girl : Oh yes. Lynn has no formal training and she's inexperienced, but she can still put up a fight. She punts people through walls, buries Dietrich with a single axe kick, and can mimic Siegfried's sword technique even when he's not possessing her body.
Backstory Invader : First hinted at in the Volume 7 extras, when all of the villagers try recalling things about her and simply put her in place of someone else before realizing that they've done so. Chapter 58 confirms that she's the creation of the Ring of Nibelung, twisting Kriemhild's wish to be reborn when Seigfried dies to be able to go on adventures with him rather than be stuck in the castle, to be hideous to men so that women wouldn't shun and avoid her, and to have Brunhild be able to see her true self so they can be closer.
The real reason she didn't get invited to Seigfried's orgy the night before he died is because she didn't even exist yet. Berserk Button : Go ahead. Show Brunhild anything less than the utmost respect in Lynn's presence, we dare you.

Bestiality Is Depraved : When Siegfried forces her to rape a dragon during the People course, Lynn is disgusted about the act itself, yes, but she is absolutely mortified that she's being forced to do it in full view of the other contestants.
