Just a single movement for me on this occasion, but a satisfying 'day-saver' nonetheless with a personal box ticked - getting one in the frame fully water-locked; especially after later learning that this particular airframe took part in the late Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee flypast. Everyone knows that all the best ideas for anything, ever, have been jotted down on beer mats first. Always seeking to be topical rather than typical, we want to make a valuable contribution to the endless public debate about our giddy drinking culture.
Here is some culture about drinking. Know your limits. It is time to celebrate all that is good about having a tipple. Stuff by artists, stuff by the good people of Halifax.

Other Communities Alexandria to Navan Click here. I have been pretty busy lately working on a number of side projects, almost all of which relate to photography, so I have been a bit absent of late. But I am excited to say that because of that work I have quit a bit of news to share, though I am not going to get to all of it tonight.
For this evening's post, the biggest item I wanted to talk about is my website. I have my own corner of the web now. It is a project I have been meaning to get wrapped up for some time, but as I possess little to no web developing skills, or much of a budget to pay for them, it has taken me until now to actually realize that little dream many thanks to Ben and Stacey, but more on them in a bit.
The main reason I have wanted to get my own website is mainly to serve as an on-line portfolio. Flickr is a great site, but my Flickr stream now has over photos, a laughably small amount compared to some streams, but still way too many for a portfolio. For the past couple of years I have been sending people to my Flickr stream if they wanted to see my work, but with the realization that they would have to sift through it all. The idea of a portfolio is a very important one.
