Wish you the best and hope to join you again on some other tour Very informative. We visited Amsterdam in August as part of a group tour. We didn't even spend the night. It was drizzling all day.
We were herded to a mandatory cheese cum clod making facility. Then the mandatory canal cruise. Then grab a sandwich off a small roadside restaurant near the main railway station. Then loaded into the bus for a quick mandatory trip to Madurodam and then to Rotterdam to board the cruise ship bound for Hull, England. As you can see there wasn't much of a chance to see much in detail. Even photos couldn't be taken because of the rain.
Maybe some day Monday 24 June Walking Tour in Amsterdam. As soon as our plan for The Netherlands was finalised and our tickets booked to Amsterdam, I started searching for walking tours of the city. Impressed by what I saw on their website, we registered for it. We had landed at around 9 pm in Amsterdam the previous night and the next morning was the walk. Jet lagged in a new country and trying to figure out the transport there got us late by around 5 minutes to the starting point.
We saw the group leave and after a jog caught pace with them. Sorry about this first photo in this post! But this was the first stop!
