Contact Admin. I use to be a regular guest of this place but I stopped to go since 1 year. I gave a try again in July but was very disappointed, I even left before to have the time to give my order. Outside no seat around 7 pm it's only big tables most of the time used by couples only, finally no choice, had to seat inside but in summer, we all want outside after 9 months of winter , we had to wait 10 minutes to get a waiter who finally drop a menu.
It was very unpleasant behind the windows at this season, then some hookers with a kilo of make-up sit next to us table, 5 minutes later another 2 arrived behind. This place has become the hunting place. The price are also high and anyway it wil cost you maybe for 2 if you plan to eat there and have a couple of beers. I will not return again, it's for foreigner just arrived and hunting.
Fashionable place full of expats with fair price beers but expensive food. All day full terrace. Seems to be a pub full of ex-pats and sad old gits picking up local escorts. The usual drinks on offer with Guinness from cans and local draught beers. Ok if you like this sort of thing. We visited the pub on a warm summer afternoon and immediately ordered pints of Chinggis beer it was alright but not as good as other local brew such as Golden Gobi, Altan Gob, etc.
The pub is nice renovated, equipped with TVs that shows international sports games, spacious and the staff speak good English. It provides a close to authentic Irish pub experience in Mongolia.
However, the pub food is rather disappointing, and quite pricey for its quality. Overall, the Grand Khan Irish Pub is worth going, but unless you are famished, it would be a good idea to just drink and maybe order some bar snacks and skip the main courses. Login Signup. Signup Login Contact Admin.
