In today's society, if a man is elegant, he's considered gay. What are your parameters for "elegant" OP? And can men be considered elegant? I really don't think of men this way, but do understand R28 posting Tom Ford. Define elegance? Or are you referring to what used to be called "fine living" or "gracious living" in the middle of the last century? In high school, I worked at the third oldest Burdine's, and the old-timers told me women would dress up and wear gloves to go shopping in the 50s and early 60s.
House models would show the high-end clothes to prospective customers. The store had not been remodeled it was sold and turned into soulless office space , and it contained all sorts of cornices, chandeliers, and a women's lounge where shoppers could rest.
By the time I got there, its original restaurants had closed, though. R16, no I'm not a MM fan. Don't really care about her one way or the other but Kate is too tomboyish, tanned and haggard looking and that long hair is not elegant. She dresses like a matronly frump most of the time. I love Donna Brasil's old style elegance. She's always in full make-up flawlessly applied, nice jewelry, smart chic outfits, the blue grey hair perfectly coiffed.
