I heard about your project and I hope it is ok that I am addressing you like so, I was wondering if you might be able to help me trace photos, documents or any other form of information regarding my late grandmother. Her name was Luba Joffis later Pikus and finally Fish. She was born in Kaunas in and went to the Commerce Gymnasium.
Her life was full of struggle, as of most of her generation, but I am trying to gather all the information and tell her story. Is there any way I can trace down info about her during the time she went to the Gymnasium? I would love to find pictures of her or any other document. My grandfather Beryl Chasanovitch had a store in the town.
