In the past few weeks, First, Second, Third and Fourth Precinct officers have coordinated several prostitution sting operations to address complaints of prostitution from the community and help improve the quality of life. Officers arrested 21 women and 13 men, throughout the city. One woman was even arrested twice. Prostitution and prostitution-related crimes hurt the quality of life for those who live and work in the areas where these incidents occur and draw other crimes to the area as well.
The Richmond Police Department conducts these types of operations periodically throughout the city as a way to deter the crime, address prostitution complaints and improve the quality of life. Arrested on Feb. Greta L. Miles, 45, was arrested and charged with prostitution near North 21st and V streets 2.
Delores Atkinson, 32, of the block of McDonough Street, was arrested and charged with prostitution near Perdue and Maury streets 3. Christina Davis, 29, of the block of King George Court, was arrested and charged with prostitution in the block of Gordon Avenue 4. Avis Malone, 42, of the block of Bainbridge Street, was arrested and charged with prostitution near 20th and Hull streets 6.
Teresa Torain, 43, of the block of Gross Avenue, was arrested and charged with prostitution in the Decatur Street Arrested on Feb. Tracy West, 40, of the block of West 26th Street, was arrested and charged with prostitution in the block of Hull Street Road 2. Georgia Frazier, 49, of the block of Snead Court, was arrested and charged with prostitution in the block of Hull Street Road 4. Melissa St. Andrea Collins, 38, of the block of Decatur Street, was arrested and charged with prostitution in the block of Decatur Street 6.
Donna Harrington, 50, of the block of Lynhaven Avenue, was arrested and charged with prostitution near Courtland Avenue and Jefferson Davis Highway 7. Chevelle Hall, 45, of the block of Ambrose Street, was arrested and charged with prostitution in the 00 block of East 29th Street 8.
