Someone told me about him previously. I contacted Mike last year I beleive , but I don't remember his contact information??? They fit that engine but are made for a Ford Bronco. The passenger side fits great.
The drivers side header does not and WILL not fit. The headers have a buldge in the rear tube that will not fit near the stering box. I appreciate any Help from anyone. Please contact me at "Rickc bellsouth. Thank You Rickey. Just a thought, had to do that on my'82 F 4x4 with a W and a set of Hedman headers to clear the front driveshaft.

Look at the driver side back tube I'm not sure I can without collapsing the tube and restricting the flow. Photo included. Is it just one tube that's in the way? You could cut the tube, turn it to where it will fit, then weld or have it welded back into place.
If it won't fit regardless, a muffler shop could bend up a new tube and weld it in. As far as the coating getting burnt off by all this fab work, unless they're ceramic or jet hot coated, the paint is only to stop rust in shipping and storage. They should be sandblasted and high heat painted or coated before use If the 8 tube is the only trouble spot, would you be willing to cut that tube out leaving an inch or so at each end at the exhaust flange and at the collector for welding purposes.
You are basically looking at only modifying the one tube from your first post, which shouldn't be too bad of a project.
