He was forced to flee his country at 14 after the Taliban destroyed his school, killed his uncle and paralyzed his brother.
Eventually, he made his way to Iceland via Turkey, Greece and Holland and he was just granted asylum here for 4 years. But perhaps the most inspiring thing about Sayed is how he strives to help other innocent refugees seek asylum and assimilate into Icelandic society, because he is a giver.
