However, a GOOD guide can make a heck of a difference in terms of getting around, getting the extra bit of history and advice you don't find in a guide book etc. Guides must be certified and should preferably be employed by an agency. One member here will have a grand time with guide NN, whom another member hates.
One member will adore agency NN, another member may feel they didn't get what they paid for. Often it has to do with chemistry, but make absolutely darn sure that you get what you pay for.
State clearly what you want to see and what you don't want to see and have the guide or agency quote you a price. Check if it is with our without entrance fees, lunch, driver and so on.
