Booked a morning couples VIP treatment, it's consisted of a sauna then a steam room, afterwards we On holiday with my daughter and we decided on our first full day to have a Turkish bath to enable us to get the best tan possible. The place is welcoming and clean. We had a sauna, steam room then the Turkish bath itself which was in a communal room full of people. There were ladies to carry out the treatments but mine and my daughters bath were carried out by a man and felt a tad personal at times but it is done professionally and well although I am particularly ticklish which they thought was funny every time I burst out laughing.
I think my teenage daughter would have preferred a more ladies only environment with a lady carrying out the treatment but they did keep us together within the group itself which was reassuring to both of us. After the bath we had a jacuzzi We washed off and got changed and waited for the rest of the group to finish their treatments which took quite a while before we could get dropped off at our relevant hotels. All in all good value for money. Tip: Take a change of clothes with you - they provide lockers.
Do not sit on the top level of the sauna as the exposed nails in the wood burn the skin. This was incredibly painful.
Also they give you a locker key which again burns the skin as it heats up. You are then placed on a marble slab and have an average coconut scrub. Everything is unisex in the same room although you have a same sex hammam person and ladies need to wear a bikini. The hot tub room smells awful like sewage and so they spray around a lot of deodoriser to try and mask this. Maybe it was a bad sewer day, but on the day that I was there then this smell was overbearing. The massage was lovely and felt a lot less like you were on the production line, although again they were spraying the deodoriser to try and hide the smell.
In summary, the facilities are good, the massage was also good, but the overall experience needs some major tweaking. We visited here whilst on holiday in Hurghada. We contacted them through the Rivoli Suites Facebook page and were so pleased we did. A drink was given at entrance and then you were taken to a Pharonic style spa. Sauna and steam then through to coconut body scrub and chocolate face mask.
