Does anyone have any advice on clothing, both in the resort and outside. As I understand it when outside the resort it is best to cover up, how much to cover up though Im not sure on. Also just wanted to check if bikinis are okay around the resort and on the beach. Please help :. MissGenie, if you want to do things like Quad Biking and other activities, do make sure your own travel insurance covers these things. The Egyptian company may or may not be insured and if it is not adequately. Unfortunately accidents can and do happen. MissGenie, Although on our arrival one of the men asked could he wear shorts in the restaurant the reception manager said it would be acceptable to go in that evening because we had arrived late, but he should wear trousers for the rest of the holiday.
I did however see lots of men wearing shorts in the evening throughout the whole holiday, they may have got away with it because the hotel was so quiet. Yes ladies can wear shorts without any problem.
