This story reminds me of an incident with a bus driver that really boils my biscuits. There are also two bus stops on this stretch: B and C.
A is on the other side of the street. The buses that go left stop at C, while the ones that go right go to B. We see the bus coming, and it makes a stop at B. Aaaaand the driver zooms past. The turn he has to make hits a traffic light that does not favour the buses so, not wanting to wait forty minutes for the next one, I TEAR off around the corner and catch the bus at this light.
Eff off or sit down. But I also called the bus company, because those two girls were still at that stop, not knowing to run after me, and the light had changed now. I emphasised that I had no idea if the move was racially motivated, but I pointed out that it looked very bad on them regardless.
I was getting to the point where I needed to get off the bus, and also where I gave the bus company my contact details. He refused to open the back door where I was, so I actually had to push out through the incoming crowd to get off. I told the operator this, too.
Then, once the call was over, I had a panic attack because I basically got kidnapped because a dude was — unintentionally? I was working the front register at a fast food place that served burgers when four girls came in together. One girl was complaining. The other three girls ignored her and ordered pleasantly enough, and even the disappointed girl was plenty nice, so I decided to see what I could do.
