City was great as always. However if your plane is landing between say noon to or pm get ready for a long wait in customs.
Stupidly they have all these planes arriving at the same time and the system gets overrun. This is now 3 times in a row where I landed in this timeframe and I waited this trip 90 minutes to get out of the airport.
The lines are tremendous. I will be back during Thanksgiving however I will be flying into Cartagena domestically so I won't have the wait. Found another causal Italian restaurant close to San Pietro that was quite good in Bocagrande and not expensive. Beach in Laguito was great and went to my favorite place for a drink in Cartagena just a short walk down from the Hilton.
Paradise continues :. Wanna head there for a bachelor party in March. Any advice? Was considering Costa Rica , but it seemed a bit expensive. Every month when I fly down to Cartagena there seems to be a bachelor party of some kind on board. Cartagena is turning into the Bachelor Party Capital. I am not exactly an expert on bachelor parties but suffice to say whatever you are looking for,entertainment wise, you will find in Cartagena if you get my drift. If you are comparing Cartagena and Costa Rica , Cartagena wins hands down.
You mentioned costa rica seemed expensive. Just check the prices,because while colombia can be cheaper than many destinations cartagena is among the most expensive places to visit in colombia. Still reasonably priced but i'd just run the numbers. In terms of bachelor parties I am not sure what type of activities you are looking for.
