Stroeja is building for years a community of young and not so young people loving quality music Right place, wrong time?
Perhaps, a wrong couple of times, the place was emptier than the Birmanian Just several months before its 18th anniversary the club has changed its location and is now in Sofia's most central area - right behind the National Bank and the Presidency. The atmosphere and the spirit remain the same as Stroeja retains its fame of being the best spot for alternative music and culture.
Currently the program is a bit altered, with concerts held mainly on Wednesdays, but on the other hand the mythical Retro Party is back on Thursdays like in the good old times in Studetnski grad.
It's true that currently most of the events are happening at Club Terminal 1, Stroeja's younger and much more spacious "sibling", but on 10 Lege Str. If you are a foreigner who enjoys alternative bands, make sure to visit this legendary place and have a round of shots with the lovely bartenders. You will never regret it!
Well, except maybe in the morning after when the hangover slams you. It's been nearly 18 years since this club opened in and it has been the trademark for good alternative music and exiting events ever since.
