I'm looking at a cruise on Westerdam. Getting a suite for the 4 of us would just about double the price. No, but for that price, you could probab get two balcony cabins the Suites were double in the Med. Are these two couples? I agree with the others, way too much. With 4 adults and only one bathroom, getting ready for dinner can turn you all into enemies quickly.
Get two cabins, you will be glad you did. Do you mean for all four people? If so, then no, don't do it. I stayed alone in a J-cat on Main on the Noordam. It was great for one; would be fine for two. If three were to stay together they would find it tight. Four :eek:! The only time I would recommend that for four people would be for a couple with two small-ish children.
And even then If you mean two connecting cabins so each couple can have onethen it should be fine. However, you lose a closet; you might be better off with two J-cat's on Main Deck next door to each other.
We have done this. It is very crowded. If you aren't related or best friends it will be almost impossible. We just made our arrangements for showering time etc, in advance and managed to make it work.
Am I glad we did it, yes. Would I do it again, NO. I am traveling in Jan on the Noordam in Cat. C with 4 adults. I'll be more than happy to share our experience. It can be done esp. Adjoining cabins are good also though. Its a tough call.
