And while I don't claim to be any kind of soccer expert, my experience with Berhalter's team is that they don't ever seem to play with great cohesion on offense. They rarely link up 2 or 3 passes in a row to create a great scoring chance. It's just down to possessing the ball as much as possible and hoping something happens.
When you go against a team like Uruguay who can do that better than you, it gets ugly. Given the individual talent they now seem to have, they should not be this punchless.
