Skip to search form Skip to main content. Sexually transmitted diseases are thought to be important in facilitating transmission of HIV in sub-Saharan Africa. This study reports the prevalence of several sexually transmitted diseases in prostitutes in Arusha and Moshi Northern Tanzania.
